Shaun and Mitchell Marsh are the sons of Geoff Marsh, who played 50 Tests and 117 ODIs as an opening batsman for Australia, between 1985 and 1992. He scored 2,854 Test runs at an average of 33.18, including four centuries – two of them against England. His highest Test score was 138 at Trent Bridge in 1989.
He later coached Australia, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka.
